I am 12 or so, walking alone across a pasture.

Happy to be in the sunshine

appreciative of green grass

admiring a magnificent cluster of trees ahead

-then-

there is no separate me

I am All and One

I am pastureblueskythepeacethatpassethallunderstanding

For a while I am free of ego mind.

And more alive than I have ever known.

I am all in all and perfectly free.

This is the first time I remember transcending.

(Many friends and clients have shared similar experiences. I often have similar brief experiences when working alone in my garden. Ken Wilber (1996) says 60% of the population has experienced unity with nature.)
